Discord Bans

Created by Tony Romanelli, Modified on Thu, 6 Feb at 11:22 AM by Tony Romanelli

The Cantina community is a place where Web3 security enthusiasts, professionals and engineers and come together to take part in securing the worlds code. In order to ensure we are able to provide a non-toxic culture within our community, our Discord server is moderated by both in-house staff and community volunteers.

Our Discord server has a wide range of rules that are in place to protect the community, our community manifesto and our reputation as a welcoming place for all Web3 security enthusiasts. Failure to follow these rules may result in actions such as warnings, kicks, or even bans. It should be noted that based on the severity of a ban, punishment may be transferred over to the Cantina system, resulting in restrictions there also.

HOW TO APPEAL A BAN

It should be noted that the following punishments are NOT able to be appealed:

  • Kicks
  • Mutes
  • Warnings
  • Temporary Bans under 48 hours

If you have been banned for more than 48 hours, please open a support ticket using the Issue Type "Discord/Cantina Ban Appeal". Be sure to include as much information about your ban as possible, and a member of our team will review your ban and get back to you.

Please note: Depending on the severity of the ban, it may take up to two business days for our team to get back to you with the next steps or more information.
